It’s the outstanding natural beauty of the countryside that draws nature lovers, walkers and cyclists staying in Powys. The wonderfully varied terrain of the Brecon Beacons National Park is criss-crossed by ancient tracks and lanes, perfect for pony trekking, and keen walkers will head to the Offa’s Dyke long distance path.History enthusiasts will be drawn to Powis Castle, a magnificent medieval fortress towering above its famous gardens and commanding glorious views over the valley. In the Victorian spa town of Llandrindod Wells, visitors can still sample the healing waters, and book lovers will be in heaven at Hay-on-Wye’s bookstores – there are more than 30 of them to explore.

This park is easily accessible and there are plenty of local attractions. The park itself is quiet with lots of birdlife to enjoy. Great for kids who love running up and down (young and old)!

Great central location, excellent value for a peaceful and quiet holiday. Wood/ log chalets are spacious and adequate. They are located in a wood overlooking fields and/ or golf course and/ or small lake and river. This is perfect for families that want a self-catering holiday in a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Supermarkets 10 minutes down the road. Ideal as a base to explore Wales. Also great for golfers and those who enjoy fishing, golf, lake and river on the doorstep. Nothing to do apart from enjoying the views, fish or play golf in the resort but this is what makes it so perfect to recharge ones batteries.
