A picturesque parc with lots of sports on offer and plenty of places to explore nearby.
Located in the ‘Sports Capital of Austria’, Sportcamp Woferlgut offers both hotel standard facilities and an unsurpassed choice of walks and waterfalls nearby.
In addition to the fishing and swimming in the private lake, the parc also features a 150m2 Kinderland and a small swimming pool. You should be aware that access is via an under-pass from the parc, where some road and rail noise can be heard. From May, family sports are organised as well as twice-weekly bbq parties for everyone.
Just a few kilometres down the road is Zell am See with its crystal clear lake, said to be the cleanest in Europe and perfect for swimming and watersports, while incredibly, you can also find summer skiing at the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

From Italy:
Take the A22 motorway, following signs for Brennero.
Continue along this road until you reach Austria, here you will have to buy a vignette which costs €7.60 (approx. £5.00) which lasts for 10 days and allows you to drive on the motorway. Follow Innsbruck/ München A13.
You will then have to drive across the Brenner Pass, which costs €8.
Continue on the A12 motorway towards ‘Salzburg/München’.
Exit at ‘Lofer/ St. Johann/ Brixental/ Wörgl-Ost’.
At the ‘T’ junction take a left-hand turn for ‘St.Johann/Lofer/Brixental’ on the 312.
Follow the signs for ‘Kitzbuhel’ and then for ‘Pass Thurn’ (161).
Once over the ‘Pass Thurn’ follow for ‘Zell-am-See’.
As you approach ‘Zell-am-See’, follow the road up the bridge (do not go through the tunnel) in the direction of ‘Bruck an der Grossglocknerstrasse’.
Go straight on at the roundabout (Billa supermarket on your right) and you will join a dual carriage way after about 500 metres.
Take the exit after the A1 petrol station (Bruck, Grossglockner).
Turn left at the T junction direction Bruck and after the Billa supermarket take the left turn following signs for Sportcamp Woferlgut.
The site is on this road on the left hand side.

Wild & Freizeitpark Ferleiten
Watch animals in their natural habitats. 20 000m2 wildlife park, children's adventure park and inn with large sun terrace.
Grossglockner Alpine Pass
The Grossglockner Alpine road has over 1 million visitors annually which make it Austria's second most visited attraction. Since 1935, the alpine road has offered breathtaking views of Austria's highest mountain (Grossglockner 3798 metres). Numerous information stands en-route give advice on what to look out for.
Eisriesenwelt Werfen (ice caves)
The world's largest ice cave which extends over 42km although only 1km is ice covered. The average temperature inside the cave is at freezing point so warm clothes are essential. The tour lasts about 1 hour although 3 to 4 hours should be planned to include the walking and cable-car ride. Excellent views over the Austrian Alps from the cable-car ride.
Visitors have to climb 134 metres, which is equivalent to climbing the stairs in a high block of flats. Each individual must decide for himself whether he is physically capable or not. The beauty and breathtaking dimensions of the cave provide plenty of reward for the effort. Parents must decide themselves whether the relatively long walk and cold temperatures are suitable for young children. If children accompany the group, they should be wearing warm clothing, as well as gloves and a hat.
